Workshops & Conferences Archive

Our conference archive section divides into the three chronological sections, each spanning a period of around five years. The first of these, the Humboldt Conference Archive, begins with the inception of the Humboldt Project in July 2017 and will be completed when that project’s funding comes to an end in June 2022. This contains materials from conferences co-sponsored by the Project either jointly with FAGI at the University of Leipzig or with one of our institutional partners in Berlin, Chicago, Göttingen, Patras, Potsdam, or Tel Aviv.

Our second conference archive spans the period from late 2012 to mid–2017. Going back to the FAGI Inaugural Conference in December 2012, it collects materials from all of the FAGI conferences prior to the inception of the Humboldt Project in July 2017. These include conferences organized primarily by the FAGI and which took place at the University of Leipzig, as well as those to which the FAGI contributed and which were hosted by the Department of Philosophy or the Neubauer Collegium at the University of Chicago.

Our third conference archive spans the period from 2006 to 2012. It documents the original cooperative ventures between the University of Chicago and the University of Leipzig. These events helped to forge the original intellectual and institutional connections out of which the FAGI and the Humboldt Project, along with their counterparts at the University of Chicago, The Idealism Project the the Center for German Philosophy, emerged.
